The S&P 500's Top 5 Leading Stocks for Nov 4-8, 2024 + A Recommended Source for Stock Picking

Here are the top five leading stocks for last week. The stock market has been doing fantastic right now, so make sure you try to trade some of these stocks. I really recommend trying things out with fake money! Right now, I'm trading fake money on How The Market Works, but StockTrak is also a really good platform to kick things off.  Sign up for a competition and just learn on the way! Trading and Investing really suck you in once you've got a feel for it.

**Reminder, these stocks are three-month charts.

(Thank you for the recommendation, oraclehelp!)

Yes, this looks pretty unimpressive now, but this will look great next week!

Keeping Up With Last Week's Recommendations

Let's see which of last week's recommendations kept up.

5. Dayforce Inc ($DAY)

It's held up and done pretty good!

4. Incyte Corp ($INCY)

This has skyrocketed! Holy, you would've made a good chunk of money if you invested here (hint hint nudge nudge).

3. Waters Corp ($WAT)

This one's definitely held up, but it hasn't done anything too spectacular.

2. Garmin Ltd ($GRMN)

 1. Paycom Software, Inc ($PAYC)

This one did pretty well too!

Check out IBD

Every week, IBD releases 50 stock picks in its newspaper. I know, not a lot of people read newspapers nowadays, but this newspaper is genuinely invaluable. I'd say that it's an investment (bear with me) for your future! Its list covers stocks outside of the S&P 500, but there's a lot of overlap between Chart Chats's picks, so don't feel too left out if you can't afford it :)

Stay tuned for next week's newsletter! We're going to talk about another stock-picking source and updates on these stocks. Comment any recommendations, things you liked, or anything that you want to see for next week.
